The Port Adelaide Dog Obedience Club has been operating for over 50 years having commenced its activities at the Naval Reserve in Semaphore, shifting to Almond Tree Flat and finally finding a home at LeFevre Recreation Reserve.
The club exists to provide education to train dogs in obedience and their owners in responsible dog ownership. Classes are held to teach owners how to train their dogs.
Our Club is funded by membership and we are a 100% volunteer organisation.
Our dedicated Instructors, office staff and committee all donate their time and expertise to help run a successful dog training club.
Our mission is to be a successful obedience dog club which serves the community by providing training activities that develop, encourage and promote responsible dog ownership and creates a social environment for dogs and their owners.
Our goal is to have dogs recognised as socially acceptable members of the community.
